Authentic learning situations
It’s one thing to talk about integrating less fortunate people into society. It’s another to actually do your bit to make this reality. That’s why our focus is on Mario, Karl-Heinz, Andreas and 20 others, the unsung heroes of our production in the Caritas workshop in southern Germany. Day in, day out, our disabled employees put their heart and soul into manufacturing METALOG training tools.

Andreas staining rods for the Leonardo’s Bridge
Jürgen inspecting a Leonardo’s Bridge
METALOG training tools Managing Director Erwin Voss and Jens in a good mood
Marius gluing a METALOG wooden case
Each one of them a specialist in a particular machine and the accompanying work processes. The 24 employees are supervised by Alois Thoma and Helmut Mayer, who ensure that the right person is matched to the right task. We recently visited the team at work in the production department and got a fantastic insight into their craftsmanship. We at METALOG training tools are really proud of our team!

We are proud that we decided to work closely with the Caritas workshop right from the very beginning and look forward to more fruitful cooperation over the coming years.
